EPIC Printing Issue

Epic print services have stabilized however users may continue to experience random delays printing receipts and After Visit Summaries. Epic support is currently reviewing system logs to try and identify the root cause and a permanent solution. Information Services will continue to monitor.
If you should experience any long delays with Epic print, please contact the UTMB Service Desk at extension 25200.

Hyperion Scheduled Maintenance

Hyperion will be completing a server architecture upgrade during the regularly scheduled Sunday evening maintenance window on August 24th. The new environment will be accessible via hyperion.utmb.edu. Please note that associated SmartView connections will need to be updated to http://hyperion.utmb.edu/workspace/SmartViewProviders and additional details will be sent via email.

Access hyperion.utmb.edu beginning Monday 8/25 and contact IS.BIDA@utmb.edu with any questions or concerns.

Peoplesoft Financials Scheduled Annual Maintenance

Due to the year-end standard procedures, the ePro create/edit functionality within the PeopleSoft Financials will be removed on Thursday, 8/28/2014 around 5:30 pm. The ePro create/edit requisition functionality will remain unavailable until 9/1/2014.

Any questions regarding this should be directed to the Purchasing Help Desk at ext. 7-8000

Disaster/Weather Emergencies

In the event of a disaster or emergency weather conditions, please refer to the following lines of communication for more information:

  • Call the UTMB hotline at (409) 77-ALERT (772-5378) or toll free at (888) 772-5449; or
  • Call the UTMB main operator at (409) 772-1011.
  • Information is also available via the web at www.utmb.edu/alert. Should the UTMB web server go down, a second server is in place as a backup and will be available via UTMB's normal URL: www.utmb.edu.  Additionally, an informational site will be activated at www.utmbinfo.com.
  • See www.utmb.edu/emergency_plan for UTMB Health Emergency Operations Plans.
  • Monitor local television and radio stations including KPRC/950 AM, KTRH/740 AM and KIKK/96 FM in Houston.
