Bryan C. Schneider received his baccalaureate degree from Wayland Baptist University in 1994. He completed his degree while serving a six year tour of active duty with the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Schneider served an additional 4 years in the Air Force Reserves during which time he received his Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University and was commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer.
Schneider began his career in health care administration in the Admissions department of David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB. He was promoted to assistant health care benefits advisor for the medical center, and was later named as managed care contracting officer. Mr. Schneider served during Operation Desert Storm and received military decorations including 2 Air Force Commendation Medals, and 2 Air Force Achievement Medals.
Schneider served as the director of operations for a national psychiatric care organization and has served as administrator for a surgery clinic and outpatient radiology facility. His 15 years of experience is inclusive of medical group practice, outpatient facility, and hospital program management with a strong emphasis in organizational, financial and personnel management. He earned his Certified Healthcare Executive certification through the American College of Health Care Executives and a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) certification through the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
Schneider joined UTMB Correctional Managed Care in 2005, as director of support services.
