Registration begins August 1 for Fall terms, December 1 for Spring terms, and April 1 for Summer terms. Contact your department for specific registration instructions.
Currently enrolled students, new students officially admitted into one of the four UTMB schools, readmitted students (students who have not been enrolled for one or more terms or who have withdrawn during a current term), and visiting medical students* who have been officially accepted through the elective application process, may register for an upcoming enrollment period.
Students who have any HOLD(s) on registration (e.g., library fines, unpaid loans, balances due to UTMB, failure to complete admission requirements, etc.) are not allowed to register until all HOLDs have been cleared. Whenever a HOLD is placed on a student, a student is notified of its existence and the office through which it must be cleared.
*Note for readmitted students: Students who have not been enrolled for 3 consecutive terms are required to obtain a health clearance from Student Health before registration is permitted.
