The Annual Benefit Concert for St. Vincent's Free Student Clinic will be held at 7 p.m. on Wed., March 6, at the 1894 Grand Opera House in Galveston. This highly anticipated and entertaining fundraiser event directly benefits St. Vincent’s Student Clinic, a UTMB student-run free clinic that serves the uninsured and underserved people of Galveston County. Without the clinic’s help these individuals will not have a means to receive adequate care. Staffed entirely by UTMB student volunteers and faculty, the clinic treats nearly 180 patients each month, providing them with essential health care with both service and compassion. We happily serve our patients year round through routine physicals and lab work, diagnostic evaluations, pharmaceutical patient assistance and medication refills.
Though staffed by compassionate and dedicated volunteers, the clinic primarily relies on donations from our surrounding communities. And we need your support! The Annual Benefit Concert is our biggest (and most fun!) fundraiser of the year. We have over a dozen performances of all varieties, showcasing UTMB’s best talents year after year. This year promises to be the best yet!
So, please join us on March 6 at the 1894 Grand Opera House. The tickets are on sale in the cafeteria during lunchtime. They are $7.00 by cash and $7.50 by credit cards. They are $10.00 at the door. The tickets are also available online at:https://www.wepay.com/events/stvbenefitconcert2013
