Taking Interprofessional Education to the Next Level at UTMB - July 10

Join your colleagues and participate in a consultant visit

At UTMB we have gone beyond synergy, which is the Quality Enhancement Plan we created as part of our re-accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

UTMB is now poised to fully engage in interprofessional education as the hallmark of all our academic programs. Yet we require some expert advice to guide us, so we have invited two interprofessional experts to work with us: Dr. Christine Arenson, professor of family medicine, and Dr. Elizabeth Speakman, associate professor of nursing. Both consultants are from Thomas Jefferson University, where they serve as co-directors for the TJU Center for Interprofessional Education in Philadelphia.

Drs. Arenson and Speakman will present for faculty and staff at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, in the Marie Hall Room of the School of Nursing/Schoolof Health Professions Building. Please RSVP to Julie Parrish at ext. 71551.
