The Institutionalization of Death and Dying: Religious and Secular Perspectives- Aug. 6

The Osler Student Societies of the McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine at UTMB will host their Second Annual Summer Seminar Series on Humanism in Medicine on Tuesday, August 6 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Research Bldg. 6, room 2.312.  The topic of discussion is "The Institutionalization of Death and Dying: Religious and Secular Perspectives."  Presenters will include the Very Reverend J. Pittman McGehee (former Dean of Christ Church Cathedral-Houston and Jungian analyst) and Nicole Piemonte, MA and Mark Clark, Ph.D. of the UTMB Institute for the Medical Humanities.  Those interested in attending should RSVP to Dr. Michael Malloy (mmalloy@utmb.edu) as seating may be limited.
