Change in CES Service Provider

In November 2010, Property Services and Clinical Purchasing began a request for proposals (RFP) for clinical equipment services and distribution (CES).  On June 3, 2013 Sodexo Clinical Technology Management (SCTM) was notified that they were the successful bidder.  On September 1, 2013 SCTM will take over the CES department from Aramark.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Bill Willison and his Aramark team.  They have served UTMB Health well, contributed greatly to our recovery from Hurricane Ike, and have been an integral part in the planning for our continued growth and success.

Thanks also to those who participated in the RFP process: Endoscopy, Ambulatory, Radiology, Pathology, Epidemiology, Nursing Administration and Hospital Administration.

If you have any concerns regarding continuity of service, please direct your call to Angela Young, ext. 25390 or anyoung@utmb.edu.

SCTM leadership has been on site for a week meeting with key customers and establishing service levels.  Many of the same personnel that have served you in the past have chosen to stay with SCTM and will continue to serve you in the future.  Aramark and SCTM are working together to make this transition as smooth as possible.
