Severely burned man rescued off coast of Galveston

KHOU, Channel 11, Houston, Oct. 20, 2006Miltary.com http://www.military.com/features/0,15240,117405,00.html A man is recovering from burns after the U.S. Coast Guard rescued him. The Coast Guard said it got a call Thursday about a 24-year-old man who had suffered severe burns. Hot oil reportedly fell on him. The ship was about 34 miles south of Galveston. A medivac helicopter flew out and rescued the man who suffered burns on his neck, arm, leg and chest. The unidentified victim was flown to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
