Grant funds study on low birth weight infants

For immediate release: April 26, 2007 GALVESTON, Texas - Alice T. Hill, R.N., Ph.D., FAAN, professor and director of the Nursing Ph.D. program at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston School of Nursing and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, received a $100,000 award for her R03 grant proposal "Feeding of the ELBW and VLBW Preterm Infants after Hospital Discharge." This two-year study is funded by the National Institute for Nursing Research at the National Institutes of Health.
