The Club of Rome is an international think tank that deals with a variety of political issues relating to the environment, population growth, resource use and other major challenges. The Mitchells have previously been recognized for their philanthropic support of organizations and institutions such as the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas Medical Branch, Baylor College of Medicine, the Houston Symphony, the University of Houston and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
