In their Keeping Kids Healthy column, UTMB Drs. Sally Robinson and Keith Bly write that young people spend too much time watching television and playing video games. They cite a study by researchers at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Albuquerque and the University of California, Santa Barbara. “American media contribute more to adverse health outcomes than to positive or prosocial ones,” the study’s authors wrote.
