Soon, heat to treat asthma

A study by Curig Prys-Picard and colleagues of UTMB found that a treatment for asthma using radio frequency-induced heat improved quality of life in four of five patients. The findings were reported at the annual meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. This treatment could be commercially available by spring.
