HIV/AIDS awareness event set for Tuesday

Galveston County Daily News (Internet / Print) 02/03/06 The University of Texas Medical Branch will sponsor a program to mark National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on Tuesday. Free HIV testing will be provided. The program is free and open to the public. Area high schools are encouraged to attend. The keynote speaker will be Patrice Yarbough, an infectious diseases specialist at UTMB. The program will also feature a personal testimony from a young black woman living with HIV.
