The story of dengue: A closer look at a re-emerging virus in Houston

Recently scientists determined that the tropical virus known as dengue has been circulating in Houston. Dengue is a serious illness worldwide, it's transmitted by mosquito bite, and there's no treatment or vaccine. Recently local scientists found it in stored blood samples in a Houston lab. But what does that mean for Houstonians today? UTMB’s Scott Weaver and Robert Tesh weigh in.
